His Pacific Palisades home of 45 years burned in the Palisades Fire. On January 8 he posted his own Instagram reel filming the burning hillside behind his house: "Well, we're going to have to evacuate the house... you see this beautiful area go up in flames." Days later he toured the rubble with Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier, saying "Forty-five years, man... I'm devastated."
