She was forced to flee her Pacific Palisades home as the Palisades Fire ripped through her neighborhood in January 2025 — she saw the fire from her house, got a text from her husband that flames had broken out near their kids' school, and evacuated with her three children and their animals ("it was just black smoke everywhere... 40 minutes to kind of get out"). In a February 5 Extra interview she described "starting over" with PTSD symptoms, still packing her family's few belongings into laundry baskets every night in case they must flee again. She launched a "Love Angeles" charity collection with 100% of profits going to Baby2Baby.
