Additional Information

Comedian Pete Lee lost his oceanfront Pacific Palisades home to the Palisades Fire in January 2025. He was in New York rehearsing his Tonight Show set when the fire came through; he watched his house burning on CBS News from a friend’s home. On January 9 he went on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon anyway — ‘I’m a comedian, but my house burned down yesterday’ — joking on stage: ‘When your house burns down, Dry January is over.’ His Jan 9 Instagram post: ‘I wasn’t home when the fire came through yesterday... Still, I’m so sad, which isn’t an emotion you’re used to seeing me wear.’
